Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Grade: A 07/24/2014
I think Arnold Schwartzenegger is a horrible actor, but he was used to utter perfection as the Terminator in this film. James Cameron really shows us how sci-fi can be made to be epic, serious, and as finely crafted as any other film. Even today, the T-1000 effects hold up, the music haunts us, and the extreme concept whereby the Terminator has promised not to kill anyone, is brilliant. Who else would have the bravery to pull that off in a blockbuster action movie where there is a point not to kill anyone by the star who is portraying a killing machine? There is no comparison between this film and the original TERMINATOR. This film is perfection....the other one was ridiculous and dumb.
