Inception
Grade: A 07/22/2014
Probably the most brilliant, confusing movie ever made. The dream within a dream within a dream idea where there are no rules, where anything can happen, and where you can't trust anyone, or anything...is a horrible place to start a movie. However, Christopher Nolan is so confident in controlling this movie, and DiCaprio and his co-stars are so focused in their approach, that it delivers flawlessly. I have seen this film a few times, and I have a decent grip on what happens, when it happens, and to whom...but it wasn't so easy upon my first viewing. Regardless of that inherent mysterious confusion, the movie is riveting, with mind-boggling special effects, and just the height of professionalism in the industry. Truly a WOW movie if there ever was one.
